About the construction of the Church of the Risen One
The Church of the Risen One who went through the Cross is the first Church that is being built by the Shalom Catholic Community. The construction is happening in the city of Aquiraz, located 30 km away from Fortaleza, capital of Ceará, state in which the history of the Charism started in 1982.
Your donation will help us continue the work. The next steps of the construction will be: installation of the doors and acoustic lining.
Phases of the Church
Concluded steps:
1. Blessing of the setting stone;
2. Building of the fundament and installation of the roof;
3. Fixing of the metal structures, limestone rocks and porcelain;
4. Construction of the arches of the chapels and the presbytery;
5. Lifting of the wall of the central icon and the chapels
6. Settlement of the floor;
7. Installation of the vitrals.
